Enter your age or maximum heart rate and 3 target zones are automatically set :

Zone 1 50-65 % (220-age)
Zone 2 65-75%
Zone 3 75-85% (or set target zones Manually)

Your time above, below and in your target zone is measured for the time you spend in each zone. Also the percent of time and average heart rate is calculated for each zone ! (You can switch zones by holding the bottom right button)

Zone 4 is a manual zone which you can set yourself.
Zone 5 is Cruise Control zone, which allows you to set your zone while exercising. One press of the button, and it automatically sets the zone 5 beats above, and 10 beats below the heart rate you are exercising at.
